The Pony Club welcome new partners Dodson & Horrell on board to support the education and training of our 30,000 members. Working with experts in the field of animal health, nutrition and well-being will allow us to continue the evolution of our training within The Pony Club Badges and Pony Club Tests. Dodson & Horrell (D&H) continue to drive innovation in the equine feeding market and it is this expertise that makes it an incredibly important partnership for The Pony Club.
We have some exciting initiatives that Dodson & Horrell will be heavily involved in, including creating a brand-new D&H feeding badge that is designed to complement the existing Pony Club Feed Badge by developing further the horsemanship skills needed to care for horses and ponies to the highest standards. D&H will also be offering their expertise by providing feeding education and support for Pony Club members and centres across the country, this will be available to all horses and ponies, across the nine disciplines. We believe this will be an invaluable resource for our members, helping to educate and improve the health and wellbeing of our horses and ponies.
Dodson & Horrell will also be the title partner for the Great Pony Club Hacking Challenge, which encourages members to ride out of the arena and explore new areas of the countryside and local environment. By recording their rides and distances they can work towards a certificate, celebrating their achievements. D&H and the Pony Club believe it is crucial for children to be challenged and encouraged to be adventurous with their ponies!
