With an equestrian career expanding over four decades, Beatriz is the most prestigious dressage rider in Spain, and she currently holds the absolute title having won ten times the national dressage championships. Having taken part in five Olympic games and collected two Olympic medals, she is currently preparing for Paris 2024 with her horse Elegance. Beatriz has also been successful at the World Equestrian Games, both individually and as part of a team, as well as many European and World Championships where her outstanding talent has always been rewarded. Beatriz is well known for her gentle, compassionate approach to all aspects of horsemanship, as well as her strong work ethic and passion for animal care and welfare. She is the owner of Villa Equus, a state-of-the-art dressage training facility where every aspect of the health and wellbeing of both horse and rider are put at the forefront. 

Notable results:

  • Olympic Games: Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020. Winner of an individual bronze medal and a silver teams medal in Athens 2004.
  • World Championships: Hague 1994, Jerez 2002, Tryon 2018. Winner of an individual silver medal and a bronze teams medal in Jerez 2002. 
  • European Championships. Winner of a silver teams medal and an individual bronze medal at Hickstead 2003, a bronze teams medal in Hagen 2005 and an individual bronze medal at the kur in Aachen 2015.
  • Ten times absolute national champion (Spain): 2001, 2003, 2010, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023.
