Quality Control Technician - Temporary

Dodson & Horrell are looking for an individual to provide QA and lab testing function whilst promoting equality, diversity, and Health & Safety as part of company culture.


    • Routine analysis of raw materials and finished products using various lab testing equipment.
    • Ensuring testing schedules are carried out within the required time frame.
    • Safely collating and preparing retained samples for testing in-house and externally.
    • Interpretation of lab testing data and reporting to key stakeholders.
    • Processing of daily samples – logging in, image scanning, grinding, NIR testing.
    • Sorting retained samples for storage.
    • Customer complaint investigations.
    • Carry out in-process testing on production samples.
    • Carry out forage analysis using lab testing equipment.
    • Checking line staff have completed online QC checks.
    • Spot check weight, seals, bag, label, and metal detection on lines.
    • Hold and report non-conformances.
    • Incoming raw materials and goods checking.
    • Keeping the lab facility clean.

    • Familiarity with production QA checks.
    • Knowledge of testing/laboratory equipment would be an advantage.
    • Working in a QA capacity and Laboratory experience would be an advantage.
