Burghley – Official Supplier of Horse Feed:
Dodson & Horrell has been the Official Supplier of Horse Feed to the Burghley Horse Trials for approximately the last 15 years, supplying horse feed for between 80-85 top class performance horses including those competed by our sponsored event riders, Oliver Townend and Piggy French. When Oliver won Burghley Horse Trials in 2009 on Carousel Quest, the horse was fed on Dodson & Horrell.
Dodson & Horrell also has a tradestand at Burghley and the stand can be found next the Lion Bridge, which is located near the South Park Entrance.
Dodson & Horrell has loyally supported British Dressage for 13 years. Our sponsorship of the Novice Summer Championship series extends to the National Dressage Championships and seven regional championships.
The Novice Championship is open to around two thirds of the total BD membership - some 7000 horse and rider combinations. Riders began to qualify for the 2013 championship from 1st December 2012 by attaining scores over 65% and 19 points, ten scored at dedicated qualifiers, to go forward to a series of summer regional championships. A good placing here gives them a coveted ticket to the National Dressage Championships at Stoneleigh Park, Warks in September 2013.
