Excitable
Feeding an excitable horse on the wrong product can exaggerate excitable behaviour, so it is important to provide your horse with the right type of energy for their temperament. Staypower Muesli and Staypower Cubes are formulated using fibres and oils, which are slow release energy sources, therefore providing sustained energy. Both feeds are also ideal for horses that require stamina.
Normal/Laid Back
If you are happy with your competition horse’s temperament and weight, try Competition Mix or Competition Cubes. Both feeds will provide your horse with that extra bit of sparkle from cereals, a source of fast release energy. If your horse is prone to weight gain and feels a bit lazy, try Competition Concentrate, a high specification, low intake cereal feed.
