19th December - Winners of Veteran Horse Showing Championships announced

The winners of the Veteran Horse Showing Ltd In Hand and Ridden Championships are Minnie The Moocher with handler Adam Pike and Amy Taylor with Kincadine Corriechoille respectively.

Sponsored by Dodson & Horrell, the Showing Championships took place at The London International Horse Show Olympia on Thursday, 19 December.

Adam and Minnie The Moocher (24), the new Supreme In Hand Champions for 2013, are from King’s Lynn in Norfolk and were presented with their trophy by Annalise Kerr, Marketing Manager at Dodson & Horrell, Clare Frost of the Veteran Horse Showing Society Ltd and Chris Lawson. Adam and Minnie win a commemorative rug and £100 worth of Dodson & Horrell vouchers plus additional prize money from Veteran Horse Showing Ltd.

Amy and Kincadine Corriechoille (16), the new Supreme Ridden Champions for 2013, are from Lancashire and also win a commemorative rug, £100 worth of Dodson & Horrell vouchers and prize money from Veteran Horse Showing Ltd.

Crimewave ll (16) ridden by Jane Harper is the Reserve Supreme Ridden Champion 2013 and Lady Babu (28) ridden by Jo-Anne Wilson is the Reserve Supreme In Hand Champion 2013.

Commenting on the winners Annalise Kerr, Marketing Manager at Dodson & Horrell, said: “It was a pleasure  to watch two such hotly contested finals.  All the finalists were beautifully turned out and showcased that with the correct management and nutrition, a horses career can extend into their thirties as demonstrated by Jigtime Puck.”
