17th November - Results from the Dodson & Horrell National Amateur & Veteran Championships 2013

After four busy days of thrilling competition at the Dodson & Horrell National Amateur & Veteran Championships, the new Champions of 2013 have been crowned. The Championships took place at Aintree Equestrian Centre during the 14th – 17th November and over the four days, over 1,400 entries were taken.

The results were as follows:

Holly Stevenson (24) from Northallerton, North Yorkshire was crowned the Dodson & Horrell National Amateur 0.90cm Champion on her own 9 year-old bay gelding, Touchdown Billy.

The Dodson & Horrell National Amateur 1.00m Championship was taken by 27 year-old Monica Ballard from Sittingbourne, Kent and she won the Championship on board My Amazing Grace, her own 15 year-old bay mare.

The winner of the Dodson & Horrell National Amateur 1.10m Championship was 23 year-old Emma Shore from Tarporley, Cheshire on her own 22 year-old roan mare, Wee Welsh Lady.

Amy Thompson (21) from Cardiff, South Glamorgan took the Dodson & Horrell National Amateur 1.15m Championship on Sunshine V, her own 14 year-old bay mare.

The Dodson & Horrell Minor Veteran Riders Championship was won by Sue Pountain from Cannock, Staffordshire. Sue was on board her own 10 year-old chestnut gelding, Sat On A Star.

Nina Emery (45) from Cannock, Staffordshire was victorious in the Dodson & Horrell Major Veteran Riders Championship on her own 7 year-old bay mare, Galaxy III.
