The foal’s immune system is immature at birth and it relies on receiving vital immunoglobulins from its dam’s colostrum. Our immune system package aids the immune system from day one and during demanding times such as weaning and sales preparation. It includes omega 3 fatty acids, which can be passed to the foal through the dam’s milk, and could help kick start the foal’s immune system.
Mannan-oligosaccarides and high levels of vitamin E are also incorporated as studies have shown that they may help improve the immunoglobulin content of colostrum. Mannan-oligosaccarides may also aid immune defences by neutralising harmful bacteria such as E-Coli.
