Mixed Grit

Mixed Grit helps to aid digestion in hens. The grit helps to grind up food by acting as teeth in their crop.

Mixed Grit also contains Oyster Shell which provides a good source of calcium for the birds. Mixed Grit is ideal for birds that spend a lot of time indoors and are unable to peck for grit-like substance in their natural environment.

Analytical Constituents:

  • Crude Protein - 9.5%
  • Crude Oil & Fats - 1.8%
  • Crude Fibre - 2.0%
  • Crude Ash - 1.5%

Typically feed 28g per laying bird per month with food or in a separate feeder. This product is not suitable for chicks or pullets - feed a smaller sized grit if desired.
